Steve Aoki wanted to create a music video that felt cinematic and existed as its own piece of entertainment. Ray Kurzweil contributed an interview on the subject of the technological singularity and needed to be included into the video.

With a limited budget, we created a vast world in a small sandbox. Aaron and Gille created a series of dynamic shots to keep the energy and mood of the world. A few choice props were used to dress an abandoned industrial space and make a crumbled mechanical world. For post, Patrick and Gille styled the video with layers of glitch and digital image distortion to give the texture of a handmade future.

The stylish video became MTV's "music video of the month" and launched years of collaboration with Steve Aoki.
